Paul FitzGerald
Paul FitzGerald began his retail career in the early 80s with Texaco Ireland. Over a very short space of time, he progressed to Direct Operations Manager with responsibility for 19 service stations countrywide.
In the mid-90s Paul took up the position of Director of Retail with DigiPhone Ireland (the O2 Mobile Network) where he excelled in driving market penetration through Independent Retailers and creating the concept and rolling out the Franchising of 40 Digicentre stores.
Armed with all of this experience and expertise in 2007 Paul created the PELCO Group with Texaco/Centra Blanchardstown and Ballygall. In those early days, Paul’s hands-on approach to customer service and retailing was admired by leading Irish Franchise Operators such as Spar and Centra.
This has led to the industry-leading organisation that the PELCO Group is today.
